An OARA Board Meeting will take place on Thursday, March 21 before the festivities fully kick off at 1 p.m. ET with a Recycled Auto Parts Roundtable with invited industry stakeholders. Ryan Mandell of Mitchell International, along with reps from Intact Insurance and OARA, will present during the four-hour slot.

A meet and greet in the lobby bar will close out Day 1.

Day 2 will be a full one, with breakfast at 8 a.m. and welcome remarks by Steve Fletcher of the Automotive Recyclers of Canada at 9:30 a.m.

Sean Davidson of David Index will kickstart presentations with an overview of scrap trends for auto recyclers, followed by a to-be-announced speaker, then Ryan Mandell of Mitchell International, who will complement Davidson’s presentation by outlining vehicle trends for auto recyclers.

Lithion Recycling, Cyclic Materials and United Catalyst Corp will deliver “Speed Presentations” around 11 a.m., followed by a Succession Planning panel before a Progi-sponsored lunch.

The keynote address from J.C. Cahill of VINMatchPro will lead attendees into the trade show—which is set to feature more than 60 exhibitors.

The night will conclude with a reception and appetizers–sponsored by Techemet and Wholesale Auto Parts–and a “Casino Night” fundraiser, sponsored by eBay Motors and in support of the OARA Employee Scholarship Program.

Day 3, Saturday, will begin with an IAA-sponsored breakfast at 8 a.m. before EV expert David Giles takes the stage for a discussion on electric vehicle profitability. A sales panel, more “speed presentations” —from Car-Part.com, ProgiParts, Hollander and EZ Suite—plus a presentation on employment engagement from Donald Cooper, will continue through the morning.

Following lunch, Donald Cooper will take the stage for his Accelerate Your Business keynote. Attendees will then reflect on the event programming before the event breaks for another year.
