Niagara Falls, Canada — August 16, 2017 — It’s less than a month until the next International Roundtable on Auto Recycling (IRT) takes place in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The IRT brings together the leading international automotive recycler associations, industry officials, guest speakers and local auto recyclers to discuss the global auto recycling industry.

Previous IRTs in Brussels, Las Vegas, Tokyo, Coffs Harbour, Quebec City, Liverpool, Phoenix, Kushiro and Malacca City have been a catalyst for the global recyclers to share information about emerging technical and regulatory trends, business opportunities, and to showcase local and industry best practices.

The next IRT takes place September 6 to 8 at the Hilton Niagara Falls Hotels & Suites. The event will be co-hosted by the Automotive Recyclers of Canada (ARC) and the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA).

The 2017 IRT kicks off on September 6 with a guided bus tour and facility visits to Miller’s Auto Recycling and Thorold Auto Parts. The facility tours are an essential part of the IRT schedule, allowing visitors to see how vehicles are recycled in Canada. A welcome reception is also planned for that evening.

September 7 will see auto recyclers and other industry stakeholders gather for plenary sessions and reports on individual countries. The final day of the IRT, September 8, will focus on IRT working sessions.
