Up to Batt: NAATBatt International to host fifth annual workshop on Lithium Battery Recycling

Ann Arbor, Michigan — NAATBatt International will hold its fifth annual workshop on Lithium Battery Recycling from August 8 to August 9 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

This in-person event will be held at the Michigan Union in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan. The workshop will focus on lithium battery recycling and battery lifecycle management issues.

The workshop comes amidst the development of Lithium-Ion battery production across North America. As the continent grows its dedication to Electric vehicles, OEMs and battery makers will have to consider issues regarding the achievement of carbon reduction in coordination with vehicle electrification.

Experts will speak throughout the workshop, with ideas on economics, technology, and legal matters as key topics.

The workshop also provides the opportunity to learn directly from leading battery recycling companies through a gamut of presentations that outlines individual company plans in the industry moving forward.

Finally, the workshop also provides opportunities to make connections with other members of the industry, whilst also providing a workshop dinner on Monday, August 8 at the Original Cottage Inn Pizza restaurant.
