Manassas, Virginia — August 29, 2011 — The Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) has announced that Ricky Young will serve as the organization’s executive secretary for the 2011-2012 term.
ARA's board of directors will formally confirm Young into the position during their annual meeting on Oct. 11-15, held in conjunction with ARA's Convention and Exposition in Charlotte, N.C.
Young, owner of Young’s Auto Center & Salvage in Benson, N.C., is currently president of the Carolina Auto Recyclers (CAR), chairman of CAR’s Legislative Committee and a member of the ARA Government Affairs Committee.
In addition, Young is a past house president of the Benson Area Chamber of Commerce, a recipient of the Benson “Citizen of The Year” Award, and a board of directors member for several community and business organizations.
