The Auto Recyclers Association has announced that Sandy Blalock will be the organziation’s new executive director, having served as in interim CEO for a number of weeks.
“For the past six weeks, I have been working very closely with the Auto Recyclers Association’s interim executive director Sandy Blalock. It has been my pleasure to see her in action,” say ARA president David Gold. “I have no doubt that Sandy will continue to help strengthen the relationship between herself, the board and the executive committee, and am excited that she will be able to work with us as we prepare for one of our biggest-ever events.”
Blalock previously served as the interim CEO, Blalock, who hails from Santa Fe, New Mexico, has served in a number of executive positions at the organi- zation, including as the AIA’s president in 2007. An auto recycler since1993, Blalock joined the ARA executive committee in 2005.
