Toronto, Ontario – United Recyclers Group (URG) has announced the appointment of Kelly Roepke to the URG Board of Directors.
A recent press release noted that Roepke “brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the board.” The press release further outlined how prior to this, Roepke was the President and General Manager of Y-Yard Auto & Truck Inc., in Effingham, Illinois.
“Roepke has grown up in the family business, gaining hands-on experience in every department. This unique background has generated a strong appreciation for teamwork, accountability and effective communication.”
Roepke has also been recognized as the “Most Influential Successor” in 2008 and has received the “Most Influential Woman” award in 2010 from her peers in the automotive recycling industry. “Her commitment to community service is evident through her active participation in several local charitable and business organizations, as well as her roles on the boards of Crossroads Bank and the Effingham Regional Career Academy.”
The press release concluded that “Roepke’s extensive experience and dedication to the industry is invaluable to URG as the group continues to grow and innovate.”
