Toronto, Ontario — With new information on electric vehicles being released by OEMs faster than can be absorbed, along with new investments from different levels of government, battery recyclers, battery re-users, Steve Fletcher and the Automotive Recyclers of Canada have decided to hold a webinar in November to lay it all out for the Canadian recycling community.
Set for Nov. 4 and to be led by Fletcher and Haydn Davies, editor of Auto Recycling World in the UK, the Canadian EV/Hybrid Auto Recycling Webinar will feature a series of discussions from industry leaders in the fields of auto recycling, electric mobility and clean energy infrastructure, speaking from a specifically Canadian perspective.
Fletcher says that the aim of the event is to keep the Canadian auto recycling industry informed on where EVs currently stand, from the perspectives of both government policy and private industry.
“EV and hybrid vehicle recycling is really a new beginning, but within an industry that has existed profitably for over 100 years,” said Fletcher, in his article announcing the event.
