CAA, OTS partner for RecycleDrive

Toronto, Ontario — August 15, 2011 — CAA and the Ontario Tire Stewardship (OTS) have teamed up for the 2011 RecycleDrive event. Taking place from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1, the event is an opportunity for the public to recycle their used car, household, and boat batteries as well as oil, oil filters, and tires for free, according to CAA. The RecycleDrive program is similar to last year’s Great Battery Roundup but with a broader scope. CAA says its goal, in partnership with the OTS, is to raise awareness about auto recycling options, OTS' used tires program, and provide information on recycled products.
