Affiliations From Under the Arch : URG celebrates successful 2024 Annual Training Conference

St. Louis, Missouri — The United States Recyclers Group (URG) recently announced the success of its Annual Training Conference which took place from April 4th to the 6th.

The event was held in St. Louis, Missouri at the Hyatt Regency at the Arch, and featured a variety of events such as a golf tournament at the Stonewolf Golf Club; an MCI Facility tour; discussions with Chris Healey, Head of IT for USA My Auto Store on “How to Dismantle 100+ Full-Service Vehicles per Day;” talks on “Trends in Vehicle Remarketing and Total Claims,” with Jerry Sullivan, President Vehicle Acquisition Strategies; and a panel on “How to Reduce Employee Turnover and Customer Churn,” with Tom Bessler, General Manager, Austin Wrench-A-Part.

According to the United Recyclers Group Newsletter, “just over 1,000 people came together for three days of networking, sharing, inspiration and top-level training—including 699 recyclers and 287 vendors.”

Moreover, the newsletter further noted that the event was able to raise $71,000 for the URG Scholarship Foundation at the event’s Tailgate Party and Auction, which also celebrated this year’s student scholarship recipients.
