Dallas, Texas — October 24, 2017 — Registration is still open for the upcoming annual ARA Convention and Exposition, taking place from November 1st to 4th at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas, Texas.
The Automotive Recyclers of Canada is affiliated with the ARA, and a number of Canadians have held positions on the board. Currently, both David Gold of Standard Auto Wreckers and Dalbert Livingstone of Island Auto Supply serve as board members.
Highlights of the 74th Annual Convention will include an opening day Recyclers’ Roundtable on “Tackling the Tough Issues,” more than 20 educational sessions with industry experts, two keynote sessions, representation from over 100 exhibitors and vendors, updates from ARA committees, the Ladies of the Automotive Recyclers Association (LARA) Breakfast and the AAA Texas 500 NASCAR Race at the Texas Motor Speedway.
This year, the convention will also host the “Buckle & Shift” fashion show, featuring a clothing line created from antique car upholstery and automotive accessories. See interesting fashion as modeled by ARA members, and discover an outlet for one of the most difficult items on a vehicle to recycle – upholstery and accessories.
Join associates from around the world at the premier event of the industry, which is ripe with opportunities to learn about new products and services while networking with colleagues.
