Recyclers in Reno: ARA to host 81st annual convention and expo in Reno, Nevada from October 23 to 26

Reno, Nevada — The Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) Annual Convention and Expo will take place in Reno, Nevada, this year, from October 23 to 26 at the recently renovated Peppermill Resort and Casino.

The convention and expo will see events such as nearly 50 automotive recyclers and industry experts sharing their insights on topics that ARA members and attendees have requested. These topics include:

  • Parts preparation and shipping
  • Wheel stands
  • Cybersecurity
  • Electric vehicle battery handling
  • Process standardization
  • Increasing efficiencies
  • Market changes
  • Leveraging opportunities

The previously popular Tech talks will also continue at this year’s convention and expo, and will further be interspersed throughout with time for more attendees to take advantage of the educational program.

“The valuable insights from peers and relationships built at ARA Conventions are priceless,” said ARA Executive Director Sandy Blalock. “Attendees have told us that they get a lot out of the educational sessions, but the biggest assets to attending are the long-term relationships built and the invaluable insight shared between industry colleagues,” Blalock further told Recycling Today.
