Victoria, British Columbia — Stuart Ady, president of the Automotive Recyclers Environmental Association (AREA) and chairman of the B.C. Auto Recyclers Division, Automotive Retailers Association (ARA) has released an update highlighting the organization’s goals for 2025.
Notably, in a recent AREA Update, Ady outlined how, while 2024 left the organization without an auditor, Terra West Environmental was chosen to conduct the environmental compliance audits.
Additionally, the update announced AREA’s reunification with the ARA.
Ady further commented in the release that “alongside Ken Hendricks and the B.C. Auto Recyclers, we will be working with our stakeholder partners to help modernize regulations and policy, making way for the eventual transition to electric vehicles.”
