Toronto, Ontario — International Automotive Consulting is the newest associate member of the Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association.
Led by Greg Aguilera (pictured), IAC specializes in providing automotive recycling businesses with operational optimization, leadership development and technical consulting, as well as training in the safe dismantling of electric and hybrid vehicles. The firm is known for supporting recyclers with tailored solutions to improve safety, compliance, and profitability as the industry adapts to rapid technological change. It works with recyclers across North America to implement safe, modern procedures that reflect the realities of a changing vehicle landscape.
Aguilera presented at this year’s OARA Convention in Niagara Falls with a session titled EV Handling: Safety First, Profit Always. The presentation focused on the importance of vehicle receiving procedures and how proper training can lead to safer, more profitable dismantling operations. He has also participated in recent industry events, including the Thorold Auto Solutions and Miller’s Auto Recycling open houses, where he helped deliver hands-on and awareness training focused on EV dismantling safety.
OARA and IAC have begun discussions on launching a hands-on training program for members this fall. The initiative is expected to serve as a model for EV dismantling training across Canada.
