Since its establishment in 2015, ELC Solutions has delivered a goal to offer fully customized solutions for its automotive industry clients’ needs. Through support services including mediation, logistics and claims, ELC is a one-stop solution for many common industry bottlenecks.
With ELC Solutions’ latest endeavour in appraisal support, the company offers a full range of support for its partners, says Dara Carpenter, CEO and founder. ELC offers services in insurer tows, body shop tows, heavy truck tows and salvage tows via its ReadyTow platform; and the company recently piloted a new appraisals program. Supporting the industry is a skill that comes naturally to the ELC team. The company’s pilot phase in remote appraisal support has been a rousing success, said Carpenter, and the company is nearly ready to roll it out to the rest of the industry.
“We’ve learned a lot and seen fantastic results during the pilot phase. Our partners are very happy with the outcome.” Some key appraisal service features offered by ELC include the ability to find the most appropriate, most seamless process for when and how appraisals are done. While most imaging can be done virtually, in-person appraisals are performed in the event further teardown is needed. With her background in claims, Carpenter says her goal is to offer support to ELC’s primary customers, the insurers.
“We are not here to take over operations. We’re merely here to support the insurers. My experience dealing with the towing and insurance claims sectors have allowed ELC to understand the challenges and build a much needed and supportive industry niche.
“ELC is a full-service support partner for all automotive verticals,” explained Carpenter. “We’re internalizing and simplifying all operations for our partners, offering a one-stop spot for towing, estimating, retrieving, disposing of—and we want to offer an experience like no other.” Not only does ELC look to ease operations for its partners—the company’s support sets out to limit cost severities, expenses and simplify payment authorizations for its clients, allowing them to focus on their jobs and not the associated paperwork. As for the future, ELC continues to plan for further growth in its industry support infrastructure.
“I am excited to be on such a strong path for growth. I have so many ideas—there’s much more on the way.” “I’m especially excited to create more opportunities in the Canadian industry,” concluded Carpenter. ELC’s new appraisal service is now officially launched to the industry.
