Beyond Batteries: IRT to host free, international webinar on electric vehicle recycling

Toronto, Ontario — The International Roundtable on Automotive Recycling (IRT) is hosting a free international webinar discussing electric vehicle (EV) recycling.

The event will take place on May 2nd at 12:00 p.m. GMT and will address topics such as the unique opportunities and challenges presented by EV recycling; the future of EV battery recycling and resource recovery; how to responsibly manage EVs at end-of-life and turn it into a profitable venture; as well as exploring the entire EV dismantling and repurposing process.

Talks will be delivered by David Giles, President of Powered EV Training and Consulting Canada as well as Andreas Frossberg, CEO of Sweden’s Car Recyclers National Association.

According to a recent press release, the event will provide attendees with insight on how to adapt and thrive in the age of electric vehicle recycling while also providing understanding for how the future of EV recycling can position individuals and businesses for success in this rapidly changing industry.

Currently 66 attendees are registered from 17 countries including: Argentina, Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Germany, Ghana, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Martinique, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Tunusia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
