October 26, 2018 — The Automotive Recyclers Association’s annual Convention and Exposition is less then a week away.
This year will mark the events 75th anniversary, taking place from October 31 to November 1.
The convention will feature industry speakers and over 30 educational classes, including the new Peer-to-Peer business process sessions. There will also be a lot of Canadian participation during the affair, with Torontonian David Gold, the out-going ARA president, serving as the titular host.
ARC executive director Steve Fletcher will also serve as the host of an international panel – Automotive Recycling Concepts from Around the World.
Returning to this year’s event is the “Tackling the Tough Issues” Recyclers Roundtable where attendees gather to discuss various topics in the industry as well as share their individual experiences.
Other available sessions include: New Features from Yard Management Systems, How to Build a Better Interchange and How to Remove Friction Between Recyclers and Repairers.
A limited number of spots are available for extended educational sessions that offer business coaching from industry professionals in a small group.
ARA’s Exposition has seen growth every year and bolsters the largest assortment of automotive recycling vendors under one roof. The event will provide networking opportunities with over 100 service providers in the automotive recycling industry.
Visitors will be able to discover new suppliers and vendors, check demos of the newest products hitting the market, receive personalized attention from new and current service providers and take advantage of specials and discounts available only to ARA members.
