ARA releases details of annual convention

Charlotte, North Carolina — July 5, 2011 — The Automotive Recyclers Association has begun releasing the details of its 68th Annual Convention & Exposition. This year’s convention is in Charlotte, NC from October 11-15.

As always, there will be a number of educational sessions. I-CAR and Mitchell will each host a session and other session topics include buying insurance, self-service yard layout, workplace safety, and showcasing your business using the Green Recycled Parts brand.

ARA says this year’s exposition will be bigger than ever but details of who will be exhibiting are not yet available.

There will be a number of networking events including a gold tournament, historical city tour, and a NASCAR garage tour. A NASCAR Sprint Series Cup race concludes the festivities and is the premier social event of the convention.

The event will take place in the Westin Charlotte. A special rate is available to convention attendees. To find out more about the event and accommodations, visit the ARA convention website here.
