Vancouver, British Columbia — The Canadian Association of Recycling Industries (CARI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jacqueline Lotzkar as its new President and CEO, effective February 3.
Lotzkar brings extensive experience in the recycling sector to her new role. She has been recognized globally and was recently named one of the Top 100 most inspiring and innovative leaders in recycling by Recycling International Magazine.
For the past four years, Lotzkar served as vice president of Pacific Metals Recycling International, where she played a pivotal role in the corporate sale process and ownership transition of the 112-year-old family-owned business.
An active member of the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA), Lotzkar has collaborated with government officials in Canada and the United States to advocate for the recycling and manufacturing industries. She holds a Master of Global Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria.
