St-Jérôme, Québec — August 30, 2017 – The automotive recyclers association of Quebec (ARPAC) recently held a meeting with the Quebec Office of Consumer Protection to address the issue of illegal recyclers within the province.
According to the association, illegal recyclers have been advertising false services for some time and continue their activities with impunity in the province of Quebec. ARPAC appreciates any kind of collaboration in dealing with this matter and invites anyone to email them at info@arpac.org or by fax at 450-504-8313, about any illegal recyclers advertised in their local weekly newspaper in the “Scrap” section of the classified ads.
If sending an ad which is thought to be fraudulent, please make sure to send a legible copy. This will aid ARPAC in finding the name of the newspaper and the date of the publication.
ARPAC will post these announcements to the Office of Consumer Protection to assist them in their work to enforce the Merchants and Recyclers Act. ARPAC would like to hand all automotive recyclers and other interested industry stakeholders for their help with this matter.
