 Thornhill Ontario--April 9 2010--Locator Upfront an American-run auto recycler magazine named Standard Auto Wreckers co-owner and Collision Repair columnist David Gold it's "Most Influential Overall" for 2009. Locator attributed Gold's pioneering contributions to the industry and knowledge of auto recycling for earning him this position. In addition to running businesses on both Canadian and American soil David Gold has managed to offer up more than his share of innovative environmentally conscious and technologically advanced solutions which have gained him much recognition and admiration. |

Milwaukee, Wisconsin -- September 1, 2011 -- Johnson Controls has announced plans to invest more than $70 million in its automotive battery recycling centre in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The investment will fund the replacement of the Cienega facility's existing rotary furnaces with larger, more efficient rotary furnaces as well as the addition of proven state-of-the-art environmental control technologies, according to the company.
