| LONDON, UK -- February 20, 2009 -- Waste recovery specialist MBA Polymers (Richmond, California / USA; www.mbapolymers.com) and European Metal Recycling (Warrington / UK; www.emrltd.com) will base their joint recycling facility at Worksop / England. MBA Polymers UK will reprocess 80,000 t/y of plastics scrap recovered from UK and European automotive and durable goods markets. Shredder residue upgraded by EMR will be processed using MBA technology to recover, separate and purify high value recyclate from the complex feed-stream. The plant will start up in early 2010, complementing MBA’s operations in the US, China and Austria. |
