A Survey on Fluid Drainage Practices of Canadian Automotive Recyclers

The participation in a recent online survey as published by the Automotive Recyclers of Canada (ARC) and the US Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) provided a total of 205 responses of which 49 came from Canadian recyclers (11.7 per cent of membership base as of Dec 2, 09), 151 came from US ARA members (15.6 per cent of membership base as of Nov. 27, 09), complemented by four Australian and one British recycler.

Incentives Proposed to Encourage New Car Sales Print E-mail

TORONTO, ON -- March 19, 2008 -- Members of the Ontario PC Caucus have proposed an incentive program to get old cars off the road and stimulate sales of new cars.
 
“It’s clear Dalton McGuinty needs to take a new path toward fuelling Ontario’s economic engine,” said Hudak. “This program would give Ontario families a real incentive to start buying again.”

LONDON, UK --  February 20, 2009 -- Waste recovery specialist MBA Polymers (Richmond, California / USA; www.mbapolymers.com) and European Metal Recycling (Warrington / UK; www.emrltd.com) will base their joint recycling facility at Worksop / England. MBA Polymers UK will reprocess 80,000 t/y of plastics scrap recovered from UK and European automotive and durable goods markets.
